The KAPEE is pleased to announce the call for papers for "Tomorrow of Primary English Education in the Fourth Industrial Revolution: Focusing on Classroom Practices in and outside Korea" a one-day conference. The KAPEE welcomes proposals for oral and poster presentations from scholars, researchers, and teachers in the discipline of primary English education, including but not limited to:

◾ ESL/EFL Material Development

◾ CALL

◾ ELT Methodology

◾ English Language Testing/Assessment

◾ Professional Development of Primary English Teachers

◾ Second/Foreign Language Acquisition

Important Dates

◾ Application Submission Deadline: March 15, 2018

◾ Notification of Acceptance: March 31, 2018

◾ Abstract Submission Deadline: May 25, 2018

◾ Proceedings Submission Deadline: July 9, 2018

Presentation Categories

1) Paper Presentation

A paper presentation should describe ideas or empirical research findings in primary English Education. Each presentation consists of a 25 minute presentation and a 5 minute discussion.

◾ Submit an upto200word proposal (abstract) in English in the MS Word/Hangul format

after receiving acceptance notification.

◾ Proposals will be evaluated by the relevance, clarity, and value to the primary English

education and research merit.

◾ Submit a 3-4 page manuscript with a short biography for the conference proceedings

(Details about the manuscript format will be given later).

2) Poster Session

A poster session consists of a display including charts, graphs, illustrations, and other visual materials on a specific topic. Presenters should be available to discuss their work and answer questions on a one-to-one basis. When you apply for the poster presentation, send us the application form only.
